Wilhelm Kåge
The Farsta range, that Kåge introduced in 1930 and kept making until his death in 1960 is the gold standard of Swedish ceramics. Every single piece, although varying vastly in style and appearance, has the same feeling of absolute gravitas. It’s costly compared to much else but it should really be selling for ten times more, given the quality. (Kåge did lots of other things, obviously. But this is a short text.)
